-The kit features a 40mm MacPherson strut up front and an adjustable Zero monotube at the rear. Camber adjustable top mounts are just part of a solution we engineered that increases camber at the front wheels by more than 1-1/2 degrees.
-The steel MacPherson strut cases have been treated to a Xylan coating. This anti-corrosion finish has low-friction and non-stick properties, minimising the risk of dirt adhering to the screw-cut threads. A needle roller thrust bearing also makes adjustment of the coil spring easier and eliminates friction in the assembly.
-Two-way adjustment of the strut damping is achieved using a bump canister—a worthwhile compromise that sacrifices a little adjustability for ease-of-use in this application. Compression adjustment is handled by the can and rebound adjustment is made at the base of the strut.
-Damping at the rear is managed by a pair of two.zero shock absorbers. A billet aluminium clevis bolts into the stock location and provides a hard mount where previously there was a compliant bush. The two colour-coded damping adjusters are easily accessible down near the trailing arm: Black for bump and red for rebound.
-The road spring remains in its stock location but adjustment has been made possible using an articulated spring seat. We provided TGM a pair of threaded bushes to weld into the stock trailing arms that allow preload to be adjusted from beneath the car using a 6 point socket. A large spherical bearing inside the spring perch accounts for misalignment as the suspension moves through its range of motion.
